Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) governs appointment cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds for services provided by AlphaTread (“we”, “our”, or “us”).

By booking a service with AlphaTread, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in this Policy.

1. Scope of Policy

This Policy applies to all service bookings made through:
Phone
Email
Website or online booking systems

2. Nature of Services

AlphaTread provides mobile, on-site tire services that require scheduling, technician allocation, and travel.

As such, cancellations and refunds are subject to time-based conditions to account for operational costs and resource commitments.

3. Appointment Cancellations

3.1 Customer-Initiated Cancellations
Cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time are eligible for a full refund, where applicable.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover operational costs.
3.2 No-Show Policy
If the customer is not present at the agreed service location and time, or the vehicle is not accessible, the appointment will be considered a no-show.
No-shows may result in a non-refundable charge equivalent to part or all of the service fee.

4. Rescheduling Policy

Customers may reschedule appointments up to 24 hours in advance without penalty, subject to availability.
Requests made less than 24 hours before the appointment may incur additional charges or may not be accommodated.

5. Refund Policy

Refunds will be considered under the following circumstances:

5.1 Service Not Delivered
If AlphaTread is unable to provide the scheduled service due to internal reasons, a full refund will be issued.
5.2 Eligible Cancellations
Refunds for cancellations will be issued in accordance with Section 3.1.
5.3 Service Concerns
If you believe the service provided was not performed satisfactorily, you must notify us within a reasonable timeframe.
We will assess the concern and may, at our discretion: Provide a partial or full refund, or Offer a service correction or follow-up visit

6. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds may not be issued in the following situations:
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment
No-shows
Incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer
Situations where service cannot be completed due to conditions outside our control after arrival, including but not limited to:
Unsafe working environment
Inaccessible vehicle
Customer absence

7. Weather and Unforeseen Circumstances

AlphaTread reserves the right to reschedule or cancel appointments due to severe weather or unsafe working conditions.

In such cases, customers will be offered the option to:
Reschedule the appointment, or
Receive a full refund

8. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued using the original method of payment, unless otherwise agreed.
Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider and financial institution.

9. Compliance and Consumer Rights

This Policy is intended to comply with applicable Canadian consumer protection laws, including those in the Province of Ontario.

Nothing in this Policy is intended to limit or override your statutory rights under applicable law.

10. Changes to This Policy

AlphaTread reserves the right to update or modify this Policy at any time.

Any changes will be effective upon posting, with an updated revision date.
